Position Details:

Position: Infrastructure  Engineer Security Cryptography Specialist

Location: Charlotte or Chicago, or Addison

Pay Range: $65 - $68/hr.

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)   

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support vendor security applications focused on crypto/security functions.
• Manage key lifecycle processes and implement enterprise cryptography standards.
• Strategize and implement cloud HSM/KMS solutions (AKV, AWS, GCP).
• Work with Thales CipherTrust Manager, HSMs, and Payshield 10x.
• Ensure best practices using Oasis KMIP 2, EMVCo, Global Platform, Multos, ANSI, FIPS 140-2, NIST SP 800-57.
• Enable database encryption via MS SQL TDE, Oracle TDE with PKCS11/KMIP-compliant tools.
• Utilize REST API consoles (Postman, Insomnia) for secure integration and testing.
• Implement full-stack monitoring with Splunk and SNMP v3.0.
• Work across Windows/Linux platforms and support container orchestration via Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of key management systems (KMS) and cryptography standards.
• Hands-on with cloud-native security and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, container platforms, and security monitoring tools.
