Job Description:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Windows and VMware Administrators are responsible for the daily upkeep and optimal functioning of an organization's virtual and physical Windows Server infrastructure.
This includes proactive monitoring of system health and performance, meticulous configuration and management of virtual machines and their resources, and swift troubleshooting of any arising issues within both the Windows and VMware environments.
They also handle essential maintenance tasks like patching and upgrades, often leveraging automation scripts to streamline routine operations.
Effective collaboration with other IT teams is crucial for resolving complex problems and implementing new solutions, all while ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the underlying IT infrastructure.

Must Haves:

Strong Windows System Administration background.
Experience with VMware Administration and Windows Cluster server Administration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong understanding of Operational Controls and Risk governance aligned to ITIL framework.
Proficiency in Windows command line.
Experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019, Clustering, and Virtualization.
Working knowledge of DMZ's.
Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
Desire to continue learning new skills and technologies.
Must have technical skills in Linux, Network Management, and VMWare.
