About the Role:

• The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that business needs related to changes in processes, policies, and/or information systems are identified, defined, and implemented.
• This role involves eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and verifying business or user requirements.
• The Senior Business Analyst gathers and synthesizes business needs for complex software, systems, processes, and services, translating them into actionable specifications to meet business objectives.
• This position acts as a strategic link between business stakeholders and technical or software development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret business needs by gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating user and technical requirements

• Collaborate in the creation of project plans to organize and schedule requirements activities

• Facilitate requirements analysis and verification sessions

• Track and manage open issues; assist in planning resolutions

• Ensure success of user acceptance testing, including documentation, verification, and release

• Develop and implement practices for end-user test plans

• Identify and document system gaps, deficiencies, or defects; coordinate corrective actions

• Create and deliver formal communications to relevant stakeholders

• Provide guidance and training to end users of applications

• Troubleshoot problems using in-depth system, software, and process knowledge

• Monitor, report, and resolve issues collaboratively with stakeholders

• Develop solutions and workarounds for moderately complex to high-complexity technical/business issues

• Create detailed documentation of business systems, processes, and user requirements

• Deliver or support the development of key project deliverables

• Monitor and report project status to mitigate risk and ensure timely, quality outcomes

• Manage assigned projects from concept through implementation

• Prioritize and manage new work requests efficiently

• Answer business process and policy-related questions, including research and stakeholder consultation

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing, or similar roles

• Strong ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical specifications

• Experience facilitating requirement analysis and verification sessions

• Proficiency in user acceptance testing and issue resolution processes

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders and training users

• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end and handle prioritization of work requests

Pay Range: $40 - $45 an hr.
