Must Haves:
- Experience with Mainframe development
- Experience with CICS, COBOL, JCL on a ZOS Platform
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Enterprise level experience
Day to Day:
- Work as part of a scrum team - code changes will be assigned as you work through the agile development process
- Participate in stand-up calls and refinement calls
- Write, test, and debug code for mainframe applications using languages such as COBOL
- Provide ongoing support for mainframe applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches and updates to ensure stability
- Identify and address performance issues
- Refine and edit code
- Ensure that mainframe applications adhere to security standards and compliance requirements
