Position Details:
Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 3 day onsite)
Duration: 6+ months + renewal (Contract to Hire)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-5PM, or 8-4PM EST
Shift/Core Hours: 37.5
Start Date: ASAP
Day to day what are the responsibilities
- Functioning as Payroll Function for clients
- Payroll processing
- Guide the clients
- Canadian Payroll Legislation
- Process payroll, audit payroll
- Quarterly balancing - ensuring reporting is correct for T4, RL-1
- Client's payroll schedule
- Filing clients T4 and RL-1 at the end of year
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years Payroll Experience is a MUST
- Customer Service (communication/verbal)
- Able to Research and look up information on their own
- 3-5 years year Canadian Work Experience
- PCP Certification or NPI Courses (PCP in Progress is OKAY but PCP Cert is IDEAL)
