Title: Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6-12 Months CTH OR Full-Time
Position Description
-
The Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer will be leading the design and execution of mechanical systems for pipeline facilities, including compressor and pump stations, terminals, and metering facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review mechanical calculations, specs, data sheets, and requisitions.
- Approve engineering documents including PFDs, P&IDs, and layout drawings.
- Support procurement, field testing, and construction documentation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in oil & gas pipeline facilities and midstream companies experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Deep knowledge of industry codes (API, ASME, ANSI, DOT, etc.).
Proficient in engineering software and documentation. - Experience working with turbines, Compressor stations.
