Position Overview:
- We’re expanding operations with a new lab facility in Redmond and are looking for a skilled Support Engineer to assist in setting up and operating a wide range of test equipment.
- This hybrid role sits between a technician and a support engineer and is ideal for someone with hands-on lab experience and strong RF testing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure lab and testing equipment
- Perform hands-on tests on lab instrumentation and electronic components
- Conduct testing activities focused on antennas, PCB boards, and related hardware
- Apply RF testing knowledge in daily tasks
- Support the use and operation of environmental test chambers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or relevant technical certification
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in a similar role (less than 3 years is not sufficient)
- Prior job titles that fit well: RF Test Technician, Engineering Lab Technician, Environmental Test Technician, Hardware Test Engineer, System Test Engineer, etc.
- Experience with RF testing, WiFi, or network-based testing
- Strong hands-on experience with lab setup and electronic testing
- Familiarity with environmental chambers and related testing environments
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
