About the Role
- We are seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for processing materials to support our satellite production team.
- You will interact with various departments such as procurement, planning, quality, and to ensure positive outcomes.
- This position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to perform a variety of procedures and troubleshoot standard tasks.
- You will work in a warehouse environment with varying workloads and will have the opportunity to learn and operate different functions within the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
- Use proprietary software and SAP ERP systems to virtually transact material.
- Document system issues, process flaws, and inefficiencies, and communicate with quality control, purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems.
- Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
- Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
- Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards by following best practices.
- Resolve individual work blockers and know when to escalate if unable to resolve yourself.
- Learn new processes.
- Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
- Contribute to the improvement of SOPs, including safety procedures.
Education Qualification
- 1 year of relevant experience either as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer.
- Any Degree
Required Skills
- Highly organized and self-starting.
- Comfortable with business software, such as Excel.
- Flexible, with good written and oral communication skills.
- Team-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
