Job Description:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, high-performance software solutions across all phases of the SDLC.

• Collaborate with architecture and business teams to build scalable enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.

• Create and review technical documentation, UML diagrams, and prototypes to validate system designs.

• Guide and support development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, testing practices, and performance optimization.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integrate with messaging systems like Apache Kafka, and manage database interactions.

• Support CI/CD processes and troubleshooting across distributed systems while applying Agile methodologies.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience with Java/J2EE development in large-scale, distributed systems

• Strong skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL

• Proficiency with Apache Kafka, JUnit, Git, Maven, CI/CD, and tools like IntelliJ or Eclipse

• Experience with SOAP web services, performance tuning, and code analysis

• Familiarity with both relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases

• Solid understanding of design patterns and Agile development practices

Plusses:

• Experience implementing application security best practices

• Knowledge of cloud-based application development and deployment

• Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk and SOAP UI for testing
