Position: Tech Support Specialist
Location: Hopewell, NJ or Addison, TX or Chandler, AZ
Pay Range: $15 - $20/hr.
Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading global bank, is looking for experienced Tech Support Specialists to join their onsite support teams. This role will focus on providing end-user support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations in a fast-paced, secure financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to hardware, software, networks, and systems access
- Provide desktop and remote support using tools such as VPN, remote desktop, etc.
- Log all service desk interactions and escalate when necessary using ServiceNow or a similar system
- Assist in system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes including user access and equipment setup
- Ensure adherence to internal IT security and compliance policies
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of IT support or service desk experience
- Proficient with Windows OS, Office 365, remote tools, and VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Must be able to work onsite full-time in one of the listed locations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in banking or financial environments
- Basic networking skills (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, or SCCM
