Position Details:
Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Newark, DE
Pay Range: $55 - $60/hr.
Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)
Must Have:
- 3+ years of QA experience
- Strong manual testing skills
- Web Services testing (SOAP & REST) experience
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA)
- Experience of automation with tools like Selenium (a plus)
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
- Understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
Day to Day:
- Manual Testing (70%) – Test web and service-based applications end-to-end
- Automation Testing (30%) – Write and run scripts using tools like Selenium
- API Testing – Validate SOAP and REST web services
- Execute Functional, Regression & Smoke test scenarios
- Work with developers and product teams to ensure test coverage
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA
