About the Role:
The Design Technician is integral to the development and analysis of drawings for civil construction projects focused on natural gas infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure all designs adhere to necessary specifications and standards.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed drawings using MicroStation for civil construction projects.

Create standard detail drawings in MicroStation.

Analyze external and third-party designs with internal tools to ensure compliance with required specifications.

Collaborate effectively with engineering staff.

Interpret construction drawing packages, civil site design, foundation design, and structural design.
Education Qualification

A relevant educational background in engineering, design, or a related field.
Required Skills

Proficiency in computer applications and experience in drafting construction drawings.

Ability to create clear and precise designs to communicate requirements to construction contractors.

Knowledge of safe, ergonomic, and practical design principles.

Experience with Bentley products, including MicroStation, Open Plant, and ProjectWise, is preferred
