Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
- Use proprietary software and SAP ERP systems to virtually transact material.
- Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
- Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
- Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
- Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
- Learn new processes.
- Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
- Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.
A day in the life:
- You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team.
- You will also interact with peer teams such as procurement, planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams.
- You are a problem solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.
- You are detail oriented and know how to spot small discrepancies in all forms of data both physical and virtual.
- You are comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying workloads and in various paths.
- In this role you are the bedrock of our operation and over time may learn to operate many different functions within our warehouse.
- You will start with one of the following paths and grow over time; Receive, Put-Away, Pick or Kit.
Qualifications:
- They must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software, such as Excel.
- The successful candidate must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
Required Skills:
- They must be comfortable with business software, such as Excel.
- Manager is looking for someone who has experience with SAP but it is preferred.
- Preferred experience in any ERP software such as (Oracle or Salesforce)
