Title: Linux System Engineer

Location: Addison, TX or Chicago, IL or Denver, CO

Contract: 12 months (possible extensions)

Description:

• This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux and Unix-based infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills.
• You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of our systems. 

Must haves:

• Proven experience as a Linux or Unix Administrator.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating system concepts and commands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Possesses a strong sense of urgency in addressing and resolving critical issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively.
• Experience with user and security management.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools.

Pluses:

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl).

Pay Range: $55/hr - $63/hr
