DayToDay Responsbilities:

Collabera is looking for Java Developers to join a not-for-profit organization that provides health, dental, and travel insurance plans to clients. The successful candidate will join an application engineering team that is currently supporting a critical healthcare claims reimbursement project for a federal client.  The candidate will be responsible for the back-end development of a Java-based system and will work with various stakeholders to understand the domain knowledge, platform structure, and business rules. This project is likely to be completed in 18 months and we are looking for a candidate who has high attention to detail, hands-on experience in maintaining high-quality code, exceptional technical skills across a broad range of technologies, managing multiple priorities, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure and scalable code.

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years of experience as a back-end developer working on both design and development
• Java8+
• RESTful services
• Spring framework
• Oracle database & PLSQL
• Versioning tools: GitLab
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• Working exposure to UI Frameworks: Spring Boot
• Working exposure to front-end technologies: JavaScript
• Must be able to debug and read JavaScript
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
• Experienced usage of Software Engineering Processes
• Working within Agile development processes 

Nice to have:

• Versioning tools: MS Co-Pilot
• Messaging experience working with MX or Kafka
• Python
• Shell scripting
• Maven
• Cloud Technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Front-end development experience working with:
• Angular
• React
• Vue
