Shift timing

  • SUN-WED 3PM-1:30AM
  • WED-SAT 3PM-1:30AM
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3PM-1:30AM

Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
• Use proprietary software and SAP ERP systems to virtually transact material.
• Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
• Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
• Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
• Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
• Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
• Learn new processes.
• Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
• Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• The Kuiper team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as procurement, planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You are a problem solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks. You are detail oriented and know how to spot small discrepancies in all forms of data both physical and virtual. You are comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying workloads and in various paths. In this role you are the bedrock of our operation and over time may learn to operate many different functions within our warehouse. You will start with one of the following paths and grow over time; Receive, Put-Away, Pick or Kit.
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience either as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer.
• They must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software, such as Excel.
• The successful candidate must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
