Position Details:

Position: Sr OpenShift Container Engineer

Location:Addison , TX / Jacksonville,FL 

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

Pay rate : 65$/hr -75$/hr

Must Have Skills:

• • Experience re-platforming and modernizing applications for cloud using OpenShift and Kubernetes.

  • Ability to containerize applications and build modular, scalable solutions.

  • Hands-on with RedHat OpenShift for deploying and managing containerized apps.

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools for containerized environments.

  • Ability to migrate legacy applications to OpenShift.

  • Strong in Linux and web server technologies like Apache, IIS, WebSphere, WebLogic.

  • Skilled in scripting/programming using Shell, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or JavaScript.

  • Proficient in DevOps tools: Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, YAML, XLR.

  • Knowledge of code refactoring and microservices/API development.

  • Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage OpenShift environments for SSO tools like PingFederate and PingAccess.

• Guide teams on best practices for running containers in OpenShift.

• Work independently and solve complex issues across platforms.

• Collaborate with multiple tech teams to understand and deliver project needs.

• Identify and fix problems with minimal impact on business.

• Document processes for deployment, support, and updates.

• Follow Agile delivery cycles and ensure smooth release of solutions.

• Communicate clearly with both tech and non-tech teams.

• Stay motivated and open to learning new technologies.
