DAY TO DAY:

- start by understanding existing databases and how they support various applications
- design new databases, enhance existing ones, write SQL queries and Transact-SQL (T-SQL) stored procedures
- troubleshoot issues when tickets come in, find/document/implement elegant solutions

This role is not a SQL admin role, they will be developing in SQL
- work closely with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to improve data flow from start to finish
- bring in and maintain a highly positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and excel
