Position Details:
Position: ATM Assistant Lab Manager
Location: Charlotte
Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr.
Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)
Day to Day:
Prepare Physical ATM hardware for test:
- Ensure all devices are operational and in good working condition before the test
- Configure physical devices to support different test scenarios
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues (faults/jams)
- Diagnose networking/connectivity issues
- Coordinate complicated repairs with on-site technicians
Install and Configure Software:
- Install software on Physical ATMS using USB sticks and remote distribution tools (SCCM)
- Install software on Virtual Machines
- Initiate scripted software installs to virtual machines
- Review software installations for success/failure and remediate failures
- Install software on Physical ATMS using remote distribution tools (SCCM)
Must-Haves:
- ATM hardware technician experience
- Software distribution (SCCM)
- Networking Skills
- Experience interacting with large numbers of virtual machines (vCenter/vSphere/ESX)
