We are Hiring LDAP Admin/Engineer
8mo Contract-to-Hire | 1 & Done 30-min Interview
Work Setup: First month: 5 dayz onsite, Post 1st month (contract): Hybrid (2–3 dayz onsite/week), After FTE conversion: 5 dayz onsite
Locations: Plano, TX , Downtown Dallas, TX , Lennox, GA , Alpharetta, GA

Must Have:

3+ years experience with LDAP SDS & SVD administration, installation and upgrades (IBM LDAP highly preferred, Open LDAP ok)
- Proficiency in managing DigiCerts and self-signed certificates for LDAP systems.
- Strong knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols and their integration with LDAP.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and experience with shell and Python scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for LDAP-related issues.
- Experience with LDAP replication and ACL restrictions and password policies.

Experience in log monitoring, alerts, and troubleshooting LDAP issues
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
DayToDay Responsbilities:
- Install, Configure, maintain and upgrade IBM LDAP (SDS & SVD).
- Configure and manage LDAP LB (Load Balancer), integrating with Layer7 for handling large-scale requests efficiently.
- Import and Renew DigiCerts and Self-signed certificates for LDAP environments.
- Configure LDAP servers to use SSL/TLS certificates, ensuring secure communication.
- Perform bulk load and delete operations for LDAP and DB2, ensuring smooth migration and integrity of data.
- Implement and manage LDAP replication to maintain high availability and consistency across environments.
- Configure ACL restrictions to control access to LDAP data based on specific roles and requirements.
- Optimize DB2 performance, including SQL query tuning, execution plans analysis, and database optimization.
- Manage LDAP users/groups, automate provisioning and de-provisioning, and ensure proper access control.
- Implement and enforce LDAP password policies such as complexity, expiration, history and lockout.
- Monitor LDAP and DB2 logs, configuring alerts for performance issues, security events, and system failures.
- Ensure SOX compliance by implementing security measures and maintaining proper auditing and access control.
- Provide on-call support for LDAP and DB2 systems, responding promptly to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts with for automation and management tasks to improve operational efficiency.
