About the Role:

• The Support Technician is a key individual contributor with both operational and technical responsibilities.
• This role supports various functions within the Formulation, Laboratory, and Experimentation Center (FLEx Center), including manufacturing, cleaning operations, and R&D development activities. Flexibility is essential, as the position will shift between responsibilities to meet program goals and development timelines.

Pay Range: $45 - $50 an hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily manufacturing and cleaning operations within the FLEx Center.

• Provide technical input and hands-on support for drug product formulation and processing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

• Execute work according to established policies, procedures, and cGMP standards.

• Identify and resolve routine technical and operational issues.

• Author, review, and maintain documentation including SOPs and technical reports.

• Support equipment administration, cleaning, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.

• Assist in compiling safety-related documentation and managing compliance requirements.

• Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Learn and apply new systems or tools such as SAP to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 4–5 years of experience in Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, or a similar function.

• Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or processing (e.g., solid oral dosage, bulk, solutions, suspensions, packaging).

• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and manufacturing documentation.

• Proficiency and inventory systems like SAP.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

• Work Setup: 100% Onsite in Rahway, NJ.

• Preferred Industry Background: Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences only.

• Not Accepting Candidates From: Oil, Automotive, Aviation, Agriculture, or Chemical industries.

• Candidate Level: No PhD holders or supervisory/managerial applicants.
