Day to Day:

• The Salesforce Engineer would be part of the CLART business line of client, CLART stands for Commercial Lending and Release Training.

• There are 3 different groups within CLART - Production Support, Infrastructure Support and Strategic Delivery.

• This Salesforce Engineer will primarily be focused on Infrastructure support where there is a huge amount of work that needs to be completed.

• They are looking for a strong Salesforce Engineer, ideally someone who is also good with Java. They need them to focus on their vulnerabilities, for which they are using Spring Boot.

• They are working in Kanban, right now they are close to implementing Java version 21.

Project Scope:

• CLART (Commercial Lending and Release Training) which is comprised of 3 groups: Production Support, Infrastructure/DevOps, Delivery. This group primarily use nCino and Salesforce.

• nCino is a financial technology company that offers a cloud-based banking platform designed to streamline and enhance various banking processes for financial institutions.

• Their Production Support team uses nCino, they also use ServiceNow, and anything that goes wrong with integrations at the bank get escalated to this team, they manage sandboxes for Salesforce and do upgrades for nCino.

• Their Infrastructure DevOps team supports integrations as well, they use GitLab, they support quality gates, vulnerability management, triage process, they support all of the infrastructure the bank uses, including any upgrades going into the cloud. A lot of upgrades are happening at the bank currently and it funnels to this team.

• Their Delivery team is responsible for integrating Salesforce into their user management tool, process improvements and they take on strategic projects.
