Required:
- Bachelors is required.
- 0–2-year experience required.
- Co-op, internship experience is a good fit.
- Preferred education or experience in Food Science or some Life Science.
- Will consider candidates with other Science, Engineering, and Math degrees with Previous food industry (nutrition, safety) or Pharma background.
Duties:
- Will work with suppliers to confirm their food safety certifications yearly for regulatory.
- Log and track supplier documentation for compliance.
- Quality agreements.
- Supplier change notices (assess these for review and approval).
- Supplier communication.
Skills:
- MS Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- This role requires excellent analytical skills (understand quality protocols and resolve quality issues)
- Previous quality background preferred.
- Previous food industry (nutrition, safety) or Pharma background is preferred
- Power BI (good to have but not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Pay Range:
- $22-23.50/hr
