Pay rate: $20 - $25/hr.

Industry: Semiconductors 

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 10 weeks.

Job Description:

• Candidate will work on IP projects, and gain insight into US and foreign patent practice.  
• They will be paired with a mentor and receive support from team members as they rotate through projects covering different aspects of the patent lifecycle from conception of an idea to granted patent. 
• One mandatory onsite week in San Diego (typically week 8 or 9)
• Travel, room, and board for the onsite week fully covered by Client.

Qualification: 

• Undergraduates or recent graduates with a science/engineering/math degree (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemistry, Math)
• GPA of 3.0+ strongly preferred
• Interest in law school and becoming a patent attorney (pre-law students, current law students, or candidates involved in legal clubs/mock trials)
