Job Title:                     Backend Python Developer

Overview:

• The team is seeking core ETL Teradata professionals with PySpark experience.
• This is a backend data-focused position centered on performing ETL and data analytics by extracting data from Teradata into Spark.
• The ideal candidate will be junior to mid-level data engineering talent with a background in enterprise banking clients, candidates should have 4 to 5 years of experience.
  

Must Haves:

• 2-6 years of experience in Python development focusing on back-end technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and big data processing.
• Strong experience with Teradata SQL and database management.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain efficient back-end components and services using Python.
• Utilize PySpark for processing and analyzing large data sets to support business needs.
• Design, implement, and optimize database solutions with Teradata.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, as necessary.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and modules.
