Job Title: Medical Lab Technician III
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Redmond, WA
Pay Rate: $23/hr - $26/hr
 
Work Schedule
  • Standard: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Potential for 4x10 split shift model:
  • Front Half: Sunday–Wednesday
  • Back Half: Wednesday–Saturday
  • Wednesday serves as a shared overlap day
  • Split shift contingent on floor space expansion and headcount exceeding 20 (currently at 12, 8 more can be onboarded)
Role Breakdown:
  • Build Technicians:
  • 100% assembly-focused role
  • Hands-on mechanical assembly
  • Follow detailed work instructions and provide feedback
  • Strong manual dexterity required
  • Test Technicians:
  • 50% hands-on work, 50% automated test support
  • Experience with pressurized systems (50 PSI to several thousand PSI) and vacuum systems is preferred
  • Must understand sequencing during automated tests and be able to communicate issues to engineering
  • Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
Key Requirements:
  • Mechanically inclined backgrounds preferred
  • Cleanroom experience mandatory (PPE protocols enforced)
    • Smocks, gloves, ESD shoes/heel straps (provided by Amazon)
  • Ability to follow and give feedback on detailed work instructions
  • Understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SAP) is highly preferred
  • Technical certifications (e.g., A&P, AS/BS) are a plus, but not required
  • Must adhere to FOD/ESD safety protocols and maintain cleanliness.
Additional Information
  • Cleanroom environment with full compliance protocols in place
  • Technicians will work on propulsion systems at different phases (assembly vs. testing)

Basic Qualifications:

  •  Aircraft & Powerplant certification/license, automotive certification's, or other technical certifications/AA's
  • Able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/or drawings
  • Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
  • Experience working with MES software packages
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high paced, challenging work environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

  •   High school diploma or GED
  •   1+ years relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing experience or equivalent industry experience
  • 1+ years of hands-on work experience with electro-mechanical       assemblies, final integration and/or harness integration experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches, etc..)
  • Strong verbal/written communication and listening skills
