Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background considered if strong CP experience is present). Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Pipeline Integrity or Corrosion will also be considered.
  • Understanding of pipeline integrity and corrosion mechanisms, with a main focus on Cathodic Protection (CP).
  • At least 1 year of experience focused on CP, ideally with some field experience.
  • NACE Cathodic Protection Technician Level 1 (CP1) certification.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with 20% field travel to various locations across the U.S.
Plusses:
  • Experience in CP designing, AC Mitigation, or anything related to external corrosion (major plus).
  • Knowledge of ECDA (External Corrosion Direct Assessment) and ESEA.
  • NACE Cathodic Protection Technologist Level 2 (CP2) certification or higher.
  • Knowledge of survey work.
  • AutoCAD skills (a major plus, as the current group is mainly chemical engineers).
  • Experience with internal corrosion.
