- You'll be entering information accurately from documents or images into a system, based on client instructions.
- Use a keyboard to enter data accurately and quickly
- Follow on-screen prompts and instructions
- Spot and report errors or imbalances
- Meet deadlines and handle a high volume of work
Top 3 Skills Needed:
- Medical billing or coding experience
- Previous data entry (DE) experience
- Basic knowledge of medical terms and coding systems (like CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10)
- Understanding of EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
- Familiarity with HIPAA rules (patient data privacy)
