About the Role:

  • We are seeking a Case Management Support Specialist to join our team. This position will be 100% remote and requires the candidate to be located in WA (outside greater-Seattle) and work in PST time zone.
  • The primary responsibilities include providing support to the Case Management staff, reviewing data to identify member needs, coordinating required services, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities: -

  • Provide support to the Case Management staff performing non-clinical activities and supporting the management of the department.
  • Conduct initial review and triage of Case Management tasks.
  • Screen members using client policies and processes to assist clinical Case Management staff in identifying appropriate medical services.
  • Coordinate required services in accordance with member benefit plans. 
  • Promote communication internally and externally to enhance the effectiveness of case management services.
  • Run reports to assist in coordinating case management needs.
  • Provide support services to case management team members by answering telephone calls, taking messages, and researching information. 
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation that meets risk management, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Protect the confidentiality of member information and adhere to company policies.

Education Qualification: -

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Required Skills: -

  • 2+ years of customer services experience. 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications. 
  • Comfortable being on phones.
  • Strong customer service skills to coordinate service delivery.
  • Ability to communicate, problem solve, and work effectively with people.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
  • Ability to think analytically and problem solve.  Good interpersonal/team skills.
  • High regard for confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • PC experience in Windows environment and accurate data entry at 40 WPM minimum. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with (HIPAA). 
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
