Job Description:
Client: Banking
Position: C++ Developer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Pay range: $55-60/hr
Day To Day Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Develop and maintain software applications using C++.
- Provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT) and production phases.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of recent hands-on experience in C++ software development.
- Experience in fixed income transaction processing with a solid understanding of fixed income products.
- Proficiency in message-based systems such as Tibco RV, or Zero MQ.
- Strong SQL and database skills, including indexing and transaction management (Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL).
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python or Perl.
