Title: Buyer

Location: Virtual CST Hours

Pay rate: $35/hr to $40/hr

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

• The Buyer will assist the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog and managing pricing.

Job Responsibilities:

• New product launch & coordination
• Maintaining product cost, retail price, content and images
• Managing vendor relations, and assisting with special projects
• Additional responsibilities include supporting and training as a backup to Control Buyer

Overview:

• In this Buyer III role you will be placing purchase orders using a bulk upload tool called Coupa. Using the internal MBOA tool will generate a list of items that need to be purchased export reports, kind of CSV files.

Day to Day Rhythm:

• Leverage smart sheets have visibility on task, validate due dates, purchase orders via bulk upload, excel v-lookup and pivot tables are extremely important tools
• Will maintain product cost, retail price, content and images
• Will place a high volume of orders
• Manager stakeholders and vendor relations, and assisting with special projects (Execution team task compliance ordering execution)

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of recent Buyer experience using Coupa
• 5+ years of strong analytics, excel analysis (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
• Strong communication skills as they will engage stakeholders and vendors
• Strong attention to details
• Experience with Six Sigma is a plus but experience with Coupa is a MUST!
• Required education or certifications: Anyone who can navigate Coupa
• Acceptable profiles/ Job titles: Buyer is ideal within procurement/supply chain
• Disqualifiers or Red Flags: Big gaps in work history! Needs Recent experience!

Must Have:

• Coupa Experience
• Buyer procurement experience in a high-volume environment (Purchasing)
• Analytical skills within MS Excel. (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
