About the Role: We are looking for a talented Jira Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Jira Service Management functionality, developing complex automation workflows, and extending Jira functionality using Atlassian Plugin SDK. This role will also involve working with partner teams to negotiate and develop data integrations, maintaining documentation, and following good SDLC practices. Responsibilities: - Contribute to requirements gathering from stakeholders - Configure and maintain Jira Service Management functionality - Develop and maintain complex automation workflows - Develop and maintain field configurations, notifications, issue security, and permission schemes - Develop and maintain ProForma configurations and functionality - Develop and maintain Insight/Assets configurations and functionality - Extend Jira functionality using Atlassian Plugin SDK - Develop and maintain functionality to automate administration tasks - Work with partner teams to negotiate and develop data integrations - Maintain documentation, scripting, and tooling for promoting configurations - Perform peer work reviews and provide constructive feedback - Follow good SDLC practices including source code control, automated unit testing, and configuration management Education Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Required Skills: Must Haves: - Extensive experience with Atlassian Jira Software/Server and Jira Service Management Data Center Edition (4+ years) - Extensive experience building Automation for Jira automation rules - Extensive experience developing Scripts using Groovy - Extensive experience building and maintaining Jira  - Experience using/extending Jira REST APIs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills Plusses: - Experience integrating Jira with downstream reporting solutions - Experience developing Jira Data Center Extensions using Java SDK - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (Agile, Kanban/Scrum) - Experience with cyber security related workflows - .NET Development / REST API integration experience
