Pay Range: $ 55 - $60
Job Description: 

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Unix operating systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis to maintain system health.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, security policies, and enforce best practices for system integrity.

• Perform routine system patching, upgrades, vulnerability management, and implement backup and recovery procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, network, and security engineers to support operational needs.

• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and respond efficiently to incidents and service requests.

Must Haves:

• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise Linux/Unix administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Solaris).

• Strong understanding of OS fundamentals, kernel, file systems, and command-line utilities.

• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and routing.

• Proficiency with system monitoring tools and performance analysis.

• Knowledge of security best practices for Unix/Linux hardening.

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or Perl for automation.

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of ITIL framework and service management processes.
