Day-to-day:
-
Month to month, quarter to quarter reporting

Prepare financial reports, understand what's being accounted for so far

Prepping cash flow statements and improving processes

Have a schedule of deliverables

Learning the people they're working with, working with people to get the info to support their reports, ability to work with large group of people

Working with entire corporate accounting, treasury, business controllers, maybe some HR depending on responsibilities

Understand accounting changes, pronouncements, lease disclosures, etc.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree
- Background in public accounting
- CPA
- 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting
- Hands-on experience in prepping financial reports and presenting to board/executive members
- Familiarity of external reporting, and SEC filings
- 3+ years of experience working in the Big 4/Big 6
- Proven tenure in past roles
