Job Description:

• Design, deploy, and manage virtualized infrastructure using VMware technologies including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and HCX.

• Provide engineering and operational support for virtual environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, contributing to continuous improvement and system optimization.

• Support infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, and performance tuning across VMware platforms (versions 6, 7, 8+).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain robust, secure, and reliable virtualization environments.

• Stay current with VMware advancements and actively contribute to improving virtualization strategies and best practices.

Must Haves

• 7+ years of experience as a VMware Engineer.

• Strong expertise in vSphere, NSX or vSAN, and HCX.

• Hands-on experience with VMware versions 6, 7, or 8 and above.

• Proven background in infrastructure engineering and operations support.

Plusses

• Scripting experience in PowerShell or Python for automation and tooling.

• Familiarity with VMware automation and orchestration tools.
