Position Details:

Position: Java developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $65 - $68/hr.

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)  

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on Java development experience and be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. You will work closely with business partners to gather and define requirements, and ensure high-performance, scalable solutions are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain complex applications
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements
• Write efficient and reusable code while ensuring performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Support and maintain existing application systems

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting (Bash, Shell, or Perl)
• In-depth knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Hands-on experience with AngularJS and Web Services
• Proficient with build and CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and Bitbucket
• Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Unix environments and shell scripting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
