Job Title: Programmer

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid – 3X onsite/week)
Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion
Interview Process: Onsite, 1 and done! (Week of July 14th)

Pay Range - $40–$50/hr

We are seeking a highly efficient Programmer to support a critical initiative aimed at cleaning up and restructuring a large internal database. This role is vital in transforming complex code into a more accessible, readable format for field engineers. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and receive guidance on internal tools, but your ability to communicate effectively and work independently will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

• Restructure and clean existing code to improve readability and usability
• Segment code into logical sections and add clear documentation/comments
• Create and utilize various forms of testing for audit and validation purposes
• Provide weekly progress updates including milestones, blockers, and achievements

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in C++
• Experience with Python
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
• Proven ability to restructure legacy code or build new code from scratch
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the utility or energy sector
