Hiring for a Senior Associate Quality Assurance
Location - Thousand Oaks, CA
Pay Range - $33 - $37/hr
- We are seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Assurance (MCS) to provide real-time, floor-based QA support at our production site.
- This fully onsite role involves rotating between day and swing shifts every six months, starting with the day shift for training.
- The position supports commercial drug substance production and requires cleanroom oversight, batch record review, and acting as a QA liaison during manufacturing and facility events.
Responsibilities**
- Provide daily oversight of the Drug Substance manufacturing areas.
- Support and compliance oversight to Manufacturing and Facilities & Engineering areas/staff.
- Purposeful presence on the floor, electronic batch record review, SOP revision & approval, work order approval, and quality approval of minor deviations.
- Evaluate compliance issues, provide recommendations, and assure progress of quality records to completion.
- Represent the Drug Substance Quality Assurance department in project execution to achieve departmental operational goals.
- Work in a team matrix environment.
- Education Qualification -
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific disciplines.
- Basic: High school/GED with 2 years of work experience OR Associate’s degree with 6 months of work experience OR Bachelor’s degree.
