Position Details:
Title: C++ Developer
Type: 6-Month Contract + Opportunity to Extend
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Model: Mon–Thurs Onsite (4 days/week), 37.5 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $80-$90/hour
Interview Process: 2 rounds – 1 personality/fit, 1 technical
Must-Haves:
- 7-10 years of experience as a C++ developer
- Experience in capital markets, trading systems, and trade lifecycle processes
- o Front or Middle or back-office applications
- o Strong understanding Equities, Fixed Income, wide range of asset classes)
- understanding of Python, RestAPI, AWS Cloud, and Microservices
- Previous project exposure with a presence of legacy applications
- Strong SQL and database skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
- Ability to deliver scalable enterprise solutions in fast-paced environments
Pluses:
- Multithreading experience
- Experience with Terraform
- Knowledge of FIX protocol
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and/or Murex trading platforms
- Exposure to Java or other programming languages
