About the Role:
The Project Cost Controller is responsible for tracking and controlling costs associated with various projects. This role involves supporting the primary project cost controller and may sometimes operate independently under management oversight. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in basic computing, particularly Excel. An understanding of construction projects, contracting, and accounting principles is essential.
Responsibilities

Review and track invoices and contractor time and material tickets.

Administer project change control documentation.

Perform data entry for miscellaneous reporting activities.

Support project cost control tasks as needed.

Prioritize tasks and complete work punctually.

Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with team members and management.
Education Qualification:

Higher education in construction/project management, engineering, business, accounting, or finance is desirable.

Relevant work experience in project cost control and monitoring is advantageous.

Certifications from PMI or AACE are beneficial.
Required Skills

Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Proficiency in Excel and basic computing skills.
