About the Role:
This position involves contributing to the advancement of communication technologies for connected Motion through standardization and research.
The role includes active participation in 3GPP standardization, leading research projects, and contributing to various standardization efforts and research initiatives.
The work may result in academic publications based on the phase and output of the projects.
Responsibilities:

Contribute to 3GPP standardization by creating invention disclosures, writing contributions for RAN1, RAN2, and/or RAN, and attending relevant standardization meetings.

Propose and lead research projects focused on communication technologies for connected, collaborating with internal and external partners.

Create academic publications and invention disclosures, and regularly report to the research team and management.

Participate in other standardization efforts (e.g., SAE, ETSI, IEEE 802) as needed.

Contribute to additional research projects within the organization.
Education Qualification:
-
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Required Skills:
-
Experience in research and development of wireless communications, preferably in vehicular environments.

Strong knowledge of wireless communication at Layer 1 and Layer 2.

Solid understanding of 4G LTE and 5G NR standards and 3GPP standardization processes.

Experience attending 3GPP meetings as a delegate and writing contributions, preferably in RAN1 WG or RAN2 WG.

Ability to learn and explore new research areas.

Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.

Clear and concise presentation skills, both written and oral, with consideration for international audiences.

Ability to work independently and within a highly motivated team environment.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respond professionally in various situations.
