About the Role
- We are seeking a Vice President Program Manager to join our team in the Data-DOS Program Management department.
- This role involves managing large, complex projects and programs within the investment management domain, focusing on data products and data management.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in investment management and data products such as ESG, Post Trade KPI, Analytics, and Risk analytics.
- Oversee data management processes including acquisition, ingestion, transformation, distribution, consumption, and governance.
- Manage large-scale, multi-year projects/programs, balancing scope, time, and quality to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with the product management team to develop product definitions and roadmaps.
- Structure and manage integrated projects and programs to achieve business results.
- Oversee the product increment lifecycle and associated ceremonies.
- Maintain relationships with senior leadership and regularly communicate status and issues.
- Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria.
- Coordinate with various data engineering and product teams.
- Mobilize and manage teams to execute project plans.
- Lead business and technical design phases.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, especially in technology, user experience, and product.
- Utilize Agile and Iterative Development methodologies.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Required Skills
- 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience. Ability to articulate objectives clearly and influence outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in business process analysis, design, and implementation.
- Ambitious and proactive with the ability to show initiative.
- Technical aptitude and understanding of technology in a business context.
- Experience working with global, distributed teams across multiple cultures and time zones.
- A sense of curiosity and the courage to ask tough questions.
- Proficiency and certification in agile at scale methodologies such as SaFE, LeSS, etc.
- Ability to drive the adoption of Scaled Agile practices across global teams.
