Title: Senior C++ Developer
Type: 6-Month Contract + Opportunity to Extend
Location: 1 Queen Street East, Toronto
Work Model: Mon–Thurs Onsite (4 days/week), 37.5 hours/week
Must-haves:
- University degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Solid understanding of capital markets (trading, derivatives, trade lifecycle) with a strong drive to build and improve supporting systems.
- Good working experience in C++.
- Hands-on experience with SQL in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and patterns.
- Commitment to CPP investments’ guiding principles of integrity, partnership, and high performance.
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience in Python, RestAPI, AWS Cloud and Kubernetes; familiarity with other languages such as Java is a plus.
- Experience in Terraform.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Murex trading platforms.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol.
