Position Title: Data Analyst
Locations: CIC - Charlotte, NC - Hybrid
Duration: 6 months to start – highly likely to be extended through 24 months based on performance/project need
Mission:
This is a net-new need - hiring manager identified a gap in which he needs help to define inefficiencies/areas of improvement in data for home lending tech space.
Day to Day:

Analyze OKRs and performance metrics (velocity, churn, backlog health, etc.)

Identify problems to turn “red” metrics into “green” through insights
-
Can influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally

Comfortable working directly with development teams and production support

Combine and interpret multiple matrices to derive efficiencies

Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI / Tableau
-
Help define and improve KPIs through data stories and deep analysis

Support the dev and product support teams with actionable data insights

Engage in thought leadership and help define improvement opportunities in home lending
Must Haves:
-
Years of Experience: 5–7 years as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer

Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) — should understand concepts like churn, velocity, matrix stages, etc.

Experience with JIRA or ServiceNow (for stories, epics, features, defects, and issues)

Ability to build Power BI dashboards independently

Developer mindset — not a developer role, but understanding of development concepts is helpful
