Title: Mapping Designer I
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $18 - $22
Day to Day:
- Provides basic drafting and technical support, requiring little latitude in judgment
- Monitors and reports on the progress and quality of assigned tasks
- Creates detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams with assistance from senior drafters or designers
- Responsible for maintaining and organizing drafting files and related materials
- Division of work is roughly 5% internal communication/coordination and 95% CADD work
Must-haves:
- 0 to 2 years of drafting experience (very entry level — could be a candidate fresh out of college)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with AutoCAD 3D is required (1-2 years)
- Proficient with basic drafting and technical support skills
- Experience with ArcPro Mapping required (1-2 years)
Plusses:
- 4 years' bachelor's degree in engineering
