Principal Data Engineer

Salary Range: 70.00 - 80.00 | Per Hour

Day-to-day:

Building data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake; utilizing Lamba and Glue
-
Will be expected to code on a daily basis!

Helping with offshore deliverables
-
Working as an individual contributor and helping coach the offshore team

Working with onshore/offshore team; roughly 6-8 folks in total
-
Optimizing systems and building pipelines from scratch
-
Contributing to AI/ML discovery by helping data scientists
Must-haves:
-
10+ years of experience in data engineering/data architecture/principal architecture
-
6+ years of experience in AWS; strong understanding as a solution architecting, using Lamba, Glue, how to build pipelines in real time versus batch, what tools they use for real-time and batch.

4+ years' experience in Snowflake
-
2+ years AI/ML experience; coming up with the latest trends, white coding, building things faster
-
Hands-on experience is preferred!

Coming from a strong data analytics background
