About the Role:
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing research projects focused on connected vehicles. You will architect and deploy cloud components tailored to project needs, often involving dynamic and large quantities of data, while considering cost and performance. Additionally, you will maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with the latest cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and deploy cloud systems to handle dynamic data from vehicles.

Incorporate storage solutions capable of managing various data types (e.g., text, images).

Develop test cases to automatically evaluate performance metrics.

Collaborate with researchers to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and software.

Engage in coding, proof-of-concept (POC), and demo applications using our test vehicle platform.

Work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other teams across the research lab.
Education Qualification

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related field.
Required Skills

1-2 years of cloud development experience in production settings.

Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud architecture.

Experience handling large quantities of dynamic data and image data.

Proficiency in Python and Linux.

Experience with CI/CD tools and containers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

(Plus) Experience with IoT systems, messaging protocols, and architectures.
