An Excellent Opportunity for “Risk Analyst” to work with one of the Largest Global Bank in Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $44/hr – $48/hr

About the Role:

• In this role, candidates will lead the management of risk, audit, and targeted assessments for Business Controls Executives.
• They will partner with leadership and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to support a culture of risk identification, escalation, and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks.
• This role requires problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of technology controls to drive risk reduction in technological teams
• Candidates will also be responsible for monitoring audit issues through their lifecycle, developing action plans, and providing accurate responses for assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of risk, audit, and targeted assessments for Business Controls Executives
• Apply subject matter expertise to support risk identification, escalation, and mitigation of compliance and operational risks
• Solving problems analytically by applying a mixture of risk and technology expertise
• Monitor the health of audit issues through their lifecycle and develop action plans
• Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations to improve control and reduce risk
• Produce executive-level presentations in PowerPoint on tight deadlines
• Partner with leadership and teams to support a culture of risk identification and escalation

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• 3+ years of experience with audit, exam management, and/or compliance
• Understanding of technology controls and control frameworks
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
• Knowledge of risk management/risk framework
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to coordinate across multiple groups and socialize across a matrix organization
• Documentation and project management skills
• Self-starter with the ability to follow through and engage with senior resources
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and understanding of prioritization in a fast-paced environment
