About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and work on a data-oriented modernization project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing microservices using Python, Pyspark, AWS EKS, and AWS Postgres. This role will involve working on a new system as well as analyzing and improving the current system.
Responsibilities:
- Senior Python Developer needed for a major financial platform project focused on enterprise-level reporting from financial models and statements.
- Role centers on middle-layer development: building, testing, and deploying RESTful APIs, creating shared service components, and collaborating with DevOps, UI, and other IT teams.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance Python code with automated testing (Unit, Functional, Performance, Acceptance).
- Ensure production resilience with minimal downtime and reliable, bug-free code changes.
- Support CI/CD processes and contribute across the full development lifecycle.
- Must be adaptable, quick to learn new technologies, and able to work on all aspects of story tasks.
Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Required Skills:

Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, AWS EKS, and AWS Postgres

Experience with Behave/Cucumber for automation and Pytest

Strong DevOps skills with Docker/container-based deployments to AWS EKS using Jenkins

Familiarity with SonarQube and Fortify for code quality

Ability to analyze business requirements and create data mappings

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and technical documentation
