Position: Senior UX Designer

Type: 6-months contract (possible conversion)

Location: New York City / Wilmington, DE / Dallas, TX / Charlotte, NC / Baltimore, MD

Salary and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $70 – $75 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Day to day:

• Researching, designing, prototyping, and presenting innovative design concepts that motivate and incentivize users to choose us for their financial needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders to develop user-centric solutions that enhance both our customers' and internal content managers' experiences.
• UI design / prototyping / working cross functionally with multiple marketing and design orgs
• Working cross functionally with designers, engineers and product managers to develop features, refine workflows, and enhancing the digital experience
• Hands on within design sprints and customer journey mapping

Must haves:

• Previous BFSI or fintech experience in the UI space
• Previous experience with marketing (B2C)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects demonstrating your design process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong systems thinker with experience defining patterns, style guides, performing user testing, and building low and high-fidelity prototypes
• Senior level experience with Figma / Miro / Usertesting.com / Dovetail or other relevant domains
• Ability to present a design vision and strategy through sketches, storyboards, mockups and prototypes
