Position Details:

Position: Design Team Lead

Location: Pennington, NJ, or Charlotte and Kennesaw, GA

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr.

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Design Team Lead (System Engineer) who is technically strong, highly collaborative, and capable of driving infrastructure solution designs in a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in cloud infrastructure, application development, and integrated solution architecture, and must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate Business Requirements into Technical Requirements and Low-Level Designs (LLD)
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce complete, end-to-end infrastructure solutions
• Create and document High-Level Designs (HLD) and LLDs using Visio and Adobe
• Work closely with Chief Engineers, Technology Project Managers, and Capacity Planners to define hosting solutions, including CPU, memory, and storage requirements
• Define infrastructure needs including backup, AD, software, outage windows, and application stacks
• Understand and apply reference architecture standards and ensure designs meet organizational frameworks
• Lead design efforts and produce documentation for Service Request (SR) Design Console
• Communicate design solutions to technical teams and business stakeholders
• Support end-to-end project lifecycle with design input and post-design support
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and standards (PMM/DSES)
• Provide input into cloud-based infrastructure (Oracle Cloud, AWS)

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of integrated solution architecture
• Solid experience in application development and related tools
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies
• Experience operating in Windows environments from an infrastructure perspective
• Ability to translate Visio diagrams into actionable technical requirements
• Familiarity with enterprise-level architecture frameworks
